My name is Riya Budhrani, and I am from Vienna, Virginia. I am a proud Sharpe Scholar and a member of William & Mary’s Class of 2029. You can often find me in Lion Hall Lounge, Swem Library, or Sadler Terrace, and I am always available by email. If elected, I will also implement weekly office hours and Class Town Halls so you always have direct access to me and a clear way to share your voice.

Outside of academics and leadership, I love playing tennis, competing in and teaching debate, spending time with my family and friends, and traveling to explore new cultures and perspectives. These passions shape how I connect with people and remind me of the importance of community and growth.

I chose to run for Class Senator because I care deeply about building a stronger and more united community. Leadership to me means listening first and then acting with purpose. I want every member of the Class of 2029 to feel supported, heard, and inspired to make William & Mary their true home.
